"It's an incredible story of how this came together (literally from shards to a complete work).  And, a meticulously reassembled story about a master of a complex craft and his triumphs, sacrifices, struggles.  I hope the book gets the attention it deserves.  It's really special."  Tim Blackburn, homeowner

"The book is a masterpiece, the most sophisticated publication on American tiles that I can think of.  This book is a tribute to historic American tiles like none other."  Joe Taylor, President, Tile Heritage Foundation
